Melissa Rocchi is the dreaming force inspiring and leading Aloria Health. For the past decade Melissa helped develop the clinical programming and worked as an administrator and therapist at a nationally recognized and respected facility specializing in eating disorders and other co-occurring disorders. Melissa is dedicated to helping people feel and experience hope again and was the impetus in establishing Aloria Health. Melissa’s experience has inspired her to establish groundbreaking care and attract a national team of renowned clinicians that provide expert clinical treatment, as well as exceptional customer service. The client-based model at Aloria Health is garnered from listening and responding to our clients and acting with purpose and feeling. As CEO, Melissa is dedicated to empowering her team and clients to create change and learn that recovery is not illusive. Transformation is possible and that we all have the potential to heal.
Chief Medical Officer – Aloria Health
Lauren Helm, MD
Lauren Helm’s extensive background in Eating Disorders is a boundless asset to Aloria Health. As a physician dedicated to the health of her clients, she works holistically and treats individuals according to their needs and unique pathology. Lauren earned her doctorate from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. She currently is a Faculty Attending Psychiatrist at NYU Lagone Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital. As Aloria’s Chief Medical Officer, Lauren is dedicated in developing new standards of care and treatment for patients and staff. Her fierce determination and creative leadership drives the mission of Aloria Health.
Chief Clinical Officer – Aloria Health
Megan Ross, LPC, R-DMT, GL-CMA
Megan Ross, LPC, R-DMT, GL-CMA, serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for Aloria Health. Megan is committed to working on international solutions addressing health and wellbeing. Her therapeutic practice centers on somatic integration and the embodiment processes within psychotherapy, food understanding, and trauma resilience. Currently completing her doctorate in International Trauma and Organizational Psychology, Megan’s research addresses inclusive peace and security.
Chief Compliance Officer – Aloria Health
Michelle McCorkle, MPH
Michelle McCorkle, MPH, serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for Aloria Health. She graduated summa cum laude from Samford University with a B.A. in Psychology and from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master of Public Health in Health Care Organization and Policy. Michelle began her career in residential eating disorder treatment, working sequentially as a patient care technician, research assistant, intake coordinator, and compliance officer. Prior to joining the Aloria Health team, Michelle oversaw ten long-term care facilities in three states as Director of Compliance. Michelle is passionate about the promotion of mental health and is thrilled to be able to return to the mental health sector as part of the Aloria Team.
Chief Marketing Officer – Aloria Health
Formerly the Corporate Director of Physician Relations for The Glen Healthcare Network of Illinois, Susan is the crux of Aloria Health’s business model and vision. With an extensive background working in the development of healthcare centers she is dedicated to educating all parties, consumers and clinicians, on the best quality of care available for their individual needs. Susan is our resident mentor for all public relation and marketing efforts. Her collaborative experience produced incredible results increasing productivity and census, while exceeding customer expectations. Susan has a knack for creating partnerships that enhances Aloria Health within the mental and behavioral healthcare community and beyond.
Executive Director – Aloria Milwaukee
Rita Ekelman, MBA, RDN, LDN
As Executive Site Director at Aloria Health of Milwaukee, Rita provides administrative leadership and direction to all staff to ensure clients are being provided with the best quality of care throughout their recovery process. Prior to her role as the Executive Site Director, Rita served as the Director of Nutrition Services at a Residential Treatment Center, where she managed and provided the day-to-day supervision and training to over 20 Registered Dietitians and Nutrition Therapy Technicians. Rita has seven years of nutrition related experience specifically treating people who suffer from various types of eating disorders.
Rita received her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Dominican University shortly after she went on to get her Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration. At this time Rita also completed her dietetic internship program where her last semester was spend researching and working with people who suffer from eat disorders. Rita is also currently working towards completing her hours to be a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
